Praise the Snow Gods

Nothing gets East coast skiers stoked more than an unexpected blower powder day.

HIGH-fives for any patrons that caught the "Roll Back the Clock Day" deal at Mad River Glen today, passes were only $3.50 just like in the 1940's. To all those you didn't get a chance on St. Valentine's Day tickets will be only $14, BUT you have to kiss that special Valentine you brought along. Personally I think Mad River is best and most well kept local mountain around the nation. With zero snowmaking and only one groomed trail, its that way a REAL mountain should be.
In BIGGER news, for the past three days the mountains scattered around New England got anywhere from a few inches to over a foot of snow. Enough to make some ski & snowboard enthusiasts think maybe this winter isn't shot already. From personal experience and word around campus; Bolton, Stowe, Smugglers, Killington and Jay peak ski resorts all got enough snow that fat skis can give that bottomless sensation. So I won't bother you anymore, strap on the fattest pair of boards you've got and "Head for the Hills."
