As the winter season came and past (and is now lingering) it feels like a good time to look back and reflect. One of the biggest and greatest snow-storms I can remember came this year, and sadly within a week was gone. That being said, unfortunately this season was fairly far from being one of the best. Even spring skiing seemed to come and go as today only the main trails remain open. However snow or not, there is one segment of skiing that i rarely covered this year, one of the biggest and most fun, park.
East coast parks do not compare to those found in Park City Utah, or Windells. This being said there are still some very talented skiers that have came out of the few small mountains around here. Colby West, once my favorite free-skier has been competing for a number of years and came from a small town in New Hampshire. Will Wesson coming from New York and skiing for the Meatheads, one of the leading and most innovative film groups. And who could forget Burlington's, LJ Stenio. I can remember watching LJ ski at Stowe when I was younger and remember how inspiring he was for everyone. And watch in the new Meathead films how he would turn places like the Main Street playground and North Beach into jib's un-imaginable. He really changed a lot of the skiing here at UVM and Stowe alike. I hope you guys like the few edits I linked to and here is part one of LJ's:
